Upcycled Showcase

THE REGENERATION STATION VISION:  To create a desirable retail space devoted to upcycled, refurnished, and repurposed home furnishings.  Beyond simply showcasing and selling, we want to be an all-inclusive resource for upcycling needs.  Through our partnership with Junk Recyclers, we are able to keep a steady flow of inventory coming in just waiting to be turned into the perfect project!  Junk Recyclers wants to keep as much of this “junk” out of the landfill as possible, and that is where you come in!

HOW YOU CAN HELP:  We want to be able to partner with local artists in order to supply them with various materials for different upcycling projects.  This will help us make use of the overflow of materials we get in which means we’ll keep less (and ideally, all) out of the landfill.  Then, we want to showcase and sell those upcycled projects in the store.  We like fun, unique pieces that really show creativity and a certain style, but we also like the simple, refinished pieces that will attract to all audiences.  We have a variety of traffic coming into the store, and we want pieces that will appeal to all tastes.

RENTABLE WORKSPACE:  If you need a place to get your crafty on, we have rentable workspaces available for $10/hr.  Here, you will have access to various tools, supplies, and materials to complete and craft project.  Call the shop for more info and to reserve a spot!

HOW IT WORKS:  If you’re interested in working on and selling a piece that comes into the shop, you just stop by, pay a small deposit (basically the price we’d sell the piece for as is – normally $5-$20), get first dibs on any scrap materials laying around, and take the piece home and make it yours!  When you are finished with the piece, bring it back into the shop and you’ll get your deposit back right away.  We’ll then sell the piece in the store on consignment in which we split the profit 50/50.  If you have a piece that you did on your own (not using any of our materials), we will still happily sell it on consignment in which you’ll receive 60% of the profit.

If you have some finished projects that you would like to sell, bring them in!  Our showroom is dying for awesome new pieces!  Regarding non-furniture art and projects: Due to our desire to be an upcycled showcase, we can only accept artwork that was upcycled in some way.  I have already seen several great examples of upcycled art, and I would LOVE to get them on the display floor.
